What most people know about me...
๐ The automotive industry has been my "home of homes" for the better part of 20+ years, and it has given me more than I could ever give back - though I'm going to spend the next twenty years trying.
๐ก Thinking big is where the magic is. I love working on impossible problems.
๐ค Business Development = my Zone of Genius.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ I'm a father and husband.
โค๏ธ I love leadership. I've been very fortunate to be part of a leadership cohort focused on culture, trust, integrity, being creative vs. reactive, and living and leading "above the line." I've been pushed and challenged in ways I never imagined possible.
What most people DON'T know about me...
๐จ I've struggled with insecurity, jealousy, vulnerability, and fear.
๐ง I wish I had learned earlier in my career that Humility > IQ. "Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less."
๐ I've parented my son through a cancer diagnosis (T-Cell ALL) and 3.5 years of treatment. Cancer is an ugly disease, and the journey is brutal.
๐ I've been unbelievably lucky because I simply showed up.
๐ต I've managed more than $100 million in Google AdWords spending as a solo consultant because I responded to a help-wanted ad.
โญ๏ธ I'm certified as a Leadership Circle Practitioner and am an Executive Coach focused on helping people become better leaders.
๐ด๐ผโโ๏ธ My mantra: Stay on the bike. When things get tough, I think of this story about Lance Armstrong: one day during a leg of The Tour, Lance was completely cooked and his coach sensed it. His coach radioed into Lance's earpiece and said "Lance, whatever you do...don't get off the bike."
๐ง DMs are open.
Stay on the bike,
Jeff
